The list has 107 peaks in California and 8 peaks in the Park extension into Nevada north of Beatty.

These are mountain peaks or significant benchmarks in or on the boundary of Death Valley National Park. The list is grouped alphabetically by topographic map with peaks listed from highest to lowest elevation on each map. The list was inspired by Ron Bartell. Coordinates and benchmark data by Richard Carey. Prominence values from Lists of John. If a prominece value is not listed it most likely will be below 300 ft.

Key to Column Headings:

ID = Sequential numbering of peaks. ST = The state the peak is in. County = The county the peak is in. Peak Name = The name of the peak as shown on the topo map. A Pxxxx ft. with the elevation of the peak if it is not named on the map. Topo Map (7.5 min.) = The 7.5 minute topo map the peak is on. Topo Map (15 min.) = The 15 minute topo map the peak is on. Highpoint = Tells if the peak is a mountain range or hills highpoint. Prom = The prominence measure of the peak in feet. EL,ft = Elevation in feet. EL, m = Elevation in meters. EL = How the elevation is shown on the map. A BM or VABM entry indicates a brass survey monument or benchmark is at the summit. UTM, E = The UTM Easting coordinate in meters. UTM, N = The UTM Northing coordinate in meters. Zone = The UTM zone. Note: UTM coordinates are using NAD27 Datum.
