The GPS seems to ignore this text when loading route. Note: Before loading this into your GPS, check that the unit is set to WGS84 and set the display to hddd.ddddd. The positions are in Latitude and Longitude and use the WGS84 datum. Once they are loaded into your GPS you can change to hddd.mm.ss.s or UTM if needed. These waypoints were taken on a climb of Mt.Pulag, November 22-23, 2006. PUL1 is in the small village of Ambangeg by the Park Headquarters building at about 4600ft. PUL2 is on the road at 7075ft. where we got a flat. A four-wheel drive high-clearance vehicle is needed on this road from Park Headquarters to the Ranger Station. PUL3 is an area where we parked and started hiking at 7245ft. PUL4 is the Ranger Station at 8090ft. and close to the end of the drivable road. PUL5 is a pass on the trail with a view of the summit looking north and a small shelter. PUL6 is a sign on the ridge where you go left. PUL7 is a camp area at 8920ft. at the tree line. There is a shelter in the trees north of here and water about 100m back on the trail. PUL8 is a sign at a trail junction. Go left here. PUL9 is the summit of Mt.Pulag. I measured 2947m with my GPS. Actual elevation is 2922m. This hike took us about four hours up and three hours down. It will be shorter if you can get a ride to the Ranger Station. 11/06 RLC
