Camp #2. Our first night's camp at about 7470 ft. (2277 m)

At sulphur vents at about 8200 ft. (2500 m)

Porter above sulphur vents. This is above the tree line now at about 8270 ft. (2520 m)

At the summit area at about 9580 ft. (2920 m) Some groups camp here using these pinnacles as a shelter.

Mt. Apo summit is the peak on the upper right.

Ruel and Richard on Mt. Apo summit. Elevation I measured with the GPS was 9770 to 9780 ft. which is about 80 to 90 ft. higher than the guidebook elevation of 9691 ft. This is much lower than the elevation of 10,311 ft. on the Mt. Apo sign which I think is from old or inaccurate surveys.
