Nopah Benchmark, Highpoint of the Nopah Range, Inyo County, California

We climbed Nopah from the east side starting from the paved Old Spanish Trail Highway east of Tecopa. This is a good route and an alternative to the DPS route. Nopah BM is the highest point. Nopah Peak is 0.8 miles north of Nopah BM.

Nopah RM#2 is stamped 1948.

The primary benchmark is not stamped.
