| Looking north at the lookout tower which was built by the CCC in 1934. It is in a spectacular location on a peak north of the Kaiser Wilderness. A high-clearance 4WD vehicle is recommended for the drive up to the narrow road to the lookout. | |||||||||

| Tom benchmark is about 200 ft. southwest of the tower on top of a rock pinnacle. It is the highest natural point on the summit. Placed in 1961.
