Milk Ranch Peak, Tulare County, California, Elev. = 6225 ft.

Located in Sequoia National Park

Milk Ranch Lookout is located about 970 ft. north of the highest point of Milk Ranch Peak. The first lookout structure here was a wood two-storey tower built about 1927. The existing steel tower replaced the wood building in 1964. It consists of a 13 by 13 ft. steel cab on a 20 ft. steel tower. The site is not currently staffed. This lookout is on the National Historic Lookout Register # 1517.
The area was burned by the KNP Complex fire which started in September, 2021. The main lookout building survived, but this aluminum equipment shelter next to the tower burned and melted.
