Harvey Mountain Lookout is in good condition and is staffed during the fire season. The building is an old design from 1918 and was built in 1919. It is one of the longest continually active lookouts in California. The concrete footings are where an Aeromotor tower was constructed in 1934 which was later removed. This Lookout is #517 on the National Historic Lookout Register. Photo taken July 23, 2017.
