REFERENCE MARK 1 WAS FOUND TO BE IN EV3658'COMPASS DIRECTION NORTHEAST INSTEAD OF SOUTHEAST AS DESCRIBED IN EV3658'1963. BECAUSE OF THE EASE OF WHICH THE LAST THREE EV3658'STATION MARK DISKS WERE REMOVED SINCE 1963, A RESET DISK WAS EV3658'NOT ESTABLISHED THIS YEAR. INSTEAD, NGS HORIZONTAL CONTROL EV3658'STATION JURUPA 3 WAS ESTABLISHED WITH THE DISK COUNTERSUNK EV3658'1-INCH BELOW THE SURFACE OF THE LARGE FLAT BEDROCK PAN IN WHICH EV3658'BOTH TRIANGULATION STATIONS ARE SET.
