Aztec Peak Lookout, Gila County, Arizona, Elevation = 7748 ft.

Located in the Tonto National Forest
Aztec Peak has a 41 ft. steel tower with a 14 ft. square, flat-roofed cab. This was built in about 1956. It is usually staffed during the fire season. This lookout is on the National Historic Lookout Register #192. Photo taken September 15, 2007.
